Abbey Farms is a unique agritourism farm in Aurora, Illinois – but we like to think of ourselves as a family fun destination! Abbey Farms has been growing memories for nearly 75 years, with our fall festival and its corn maze, pumpkin patch and outdoor attractions; with our holiday season, with dozens of acres of U-Cut trees and our Christmas store; with our Summer Ramble season and its specialty cafe menu and live music; and, coming soon – our apple orchard, and new winter season activities!It all started in the 1930s when the monks of Marmion Abbey settled here and began growing trees – then opened to the public for the first time in 1949. Abbey Farms is a working, nonprofit farm – and all proceeds benefit the monks and their mission.

After nearly a decade of planning, Copley Theatre is undergoing a major renovation, transforming into an intimate, contemporary space to house our next creative adventure. Previously used to host community events, rehearsals and the annual run of the Second City’s holiday improv shows, the new Copley Theatre will allow us to dramatically expand the type of art that we can produce. The stage will have a new configuration, and the back stage support spaces for cast, crew and musicians will be overhauled. The sightlines and seating will be set up in a way that allows the audience to come together and collectively share an intimate experience. The directors and artists will be courageous; they will be passionate about the story that they are telling. In a word, they will be bold.
