Abbey Farms has been growing memories for nearly 75 years, with our fall festival and its corn maze, pumpkin patch and outdoor attractions; with our holiday season, with dozens of acres of U-Cut trees and our Christmas store; with our Summer Ramble season and its specialty cafe menu and live music; and, coming soon – our apple orchard, and new winter season activities!It all started in the 1930s when the monks of Marmion Abbey settled here and began growing trees – then opened to the public for the first time in 1949. The golf course at Aurora Country Club was originally designed by Thomas Bendelow. A prolific architect during the golden age, Mr. Bendelow was responsible for a number of exceptional courses throughout the Midwest and across the United States.  Measuring just shy of 6,800 yards from the back tees, the course at ACC provides 4 different sets of tees. While our golf course can still challenge the scratch golfer, it remains both playable and fun for all skill levels. After nearly a decade of planning, Copley Theatre is undergoing a major renovation, transforming into an intimate, contemporary space to house our next creative adventure. Previously used to host community events, rehearsals and the annual run of the Second City’s holiday improv shows, the new Copley Theatre will allow us to dramatically expand the type of art that we can produce. The stage will have a new configuration, and the back stage support spaces for cast, crew and musicians will be overhauled.
