Experience the Edith Farnsworth House in a new way through mindfulness, art, and the passage of time. This special event brings together artist Tom Rossiter and Jack Lawlor, a Dharma Teacher in the Plum Village tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, for an immersive afteernoon of reflection and awareness. Jack will guide participants in sitting and walking meditation, offering tools to slow down and experience the house and its setting with fresh perspective.

We’ll then view Rossiter’s 12-minute timelapse video, INHABIT—the culmination of his yearlong residency exploring the house across all four seasons. Captured through thousands of images, the piece reveals the dynamic relationship between light, weather, and the surrounding landscape, accompanied by an original ambient and Native American-inspired soundtrack that honors the site’s Potawatomi heritage. Rossiter will discuss the creation of INHABIT and invite open conversation about mindfulness, time, and our connection to nature.
