The City of Aurora’s inaugural illuminated art experience will light areas of downtown Aurora throughout October 2024. LUMENAURA® features immersive light-and-sound-based installations, magical projection mapping, interactive street art, dazzling live entertainment, a variety of food and beverage options, and more. Visitors are guided along a path throughout downtown Aurora while interacting with free and family-friendly art and sound displays that are unlike anything they have experienced!

The unifying theme of this year’s event is “portals.” Portals to the past, future, across space, or to a parallel universe may be included in creating literal or conceptual interpretations of the theme.
